Relationship/Marital Counselling

Relationships aren’t always plain sailing and sometimes we feel stressed, worried or overwhelmed by how relationships or marriages make us feel. I offer relationship and marital counselling for relationship problems, including support with emotional stress linked to significant life transitions that can affect your relationship, such as:

  • Having a baby

  • Your child leaving for university/college

  • Your partner becoming unemployed

  • Getting a new job

  • Moving house

  • Being in a toxic relationship

In our sessions, we will work together to understand and explore the relationship issues that may be causing you problems, whether you are experiencing difficulties in a long-term relationship, or find that you tend to fall into unhelpful relationship patterns that prevent you from maintaining lasting relationships.

In a safe and non-judgemental environment, I will help you to explore factors such as family values, upbringing, religion, culture, differing sexual needs, communication style, parenting style and lifestyle factors like work stress or financial pressure to examine how these can all affect a healthy relationship.

I am here to help you however you identify - whether you are single, married, divorced, living together, single, gay, bisexual, asexual, straight or transgender. Sessions are for individuals only, I currently do not offer couple counselling.
